Application for The Hōkun Trust Bursary
We are pleased to receive your application for a bursary. The Hōkun Trust is a charity advancing the study and practice of the Buddha’s teachings.
The bursaries may contribute to the cost of a course in Buddhist Studies, a related language or a retreat period.
Applicants are expected to be able to demonstrate a keen interest in exploring the Buddha Dharma, and to show how the course or study period will further their practice. After the course we ask that you write a short piece about your experience and the support offered by the Trust. We reserve the right to publish the piece.
In addition to the referees, we may require you to attend an interview in person or by telephone as appropriate, and to report to us during the course.
